In privaten Hinterhöfen und Gärten finden sich vielfach wertvolle Lebensräume für seltene oder gefährdete Arten, die unbeachtet überdauern. Das Wissen um diese Vorkommen ist bislang lückenhaft, da private Flächen in den üblichen Kartierungen nicht erscheinen. Damit wir dieses Potenzial besser verstehen und gezielt fördern können, führt der Kanton Basel-Stadt in Zusammenarbeit mit Flora beider Basel im Quartier Bachletten eine systematische Vegetationskartierung durch. Rechne mit ein bis zwei Stunden pro Begehung. Bei Interesse gibt dir die Geschäftsstelle per Mail Zugang zu einem Ordner mit Informationen zu allen teilnehmenden Eigentümerschaften, einschliesslich Adressen, Fotos und Angaben zu den Gärten. Wähle eine oder mehrere Flächen aus, reserviere sie in einer dir zur Verfügung gestellten Tabelle und nimm anschliessend Kontakt mit der Eigentümerschaft auf, um einen Termin zu vereinbaren. Die Eigentümerschaften sind informiert und freuen sich auf deine Kontaktaufnahme. Vor Ort erfasst du alle wild wachsenden Gefässpflanzen und Gartenflüchtlinge. Die Fundmeldungen werden via Vegetationsaufnahme Erhebungsprotokoll der FlorApp übermittelt und über das Onlinefeldbuch hochgeladen. Eine Anleitung dafür findest du hier. Für jede Fläche führst du ein Erhebungsprotokoll mit Fotodokumentation. Dieses kannst du im Anschluss als Foto/Scan der Geschäftsstelle zukommen lassen.
